
White Sauce Pasta

Ingredients
- 400g spaghetti
- 250g mincemeat of your choice
- 4 Bacon rashers, smoked and finely chopped
- 1 Onion, finely chopped
- 2 Carrots, finely chopped
- 1 Red chilli, finely chopped
- 3 Garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 2 cups tomato puree
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 Sprig of basil leaves, torn
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
- ¼ cup parmesan cheese, grated
- Olive oil
- 1 cup red wine (optional)
Indian-Style Spaghetti Bolognese
Indian Spaghetti Bolognese Spaghetti Bolognese is probably the most popular pasta dish, but this Indian recipe puts a delicious twist on it that will appeal to spicy food lovers.
This dish is prepared with roasted bacon, ground meat and spicy tomato sauce.
Any type of minced meat is suitable for this recipe.
Best served with crunchy cheesy garlic bread for a hearty dinner.
Method
- Boil the pasta until al dente and set aside.
- Heat 4 tablespoons oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Fry the bacon until slightly crispy.
- Add onions, garlic and carrots and sauté until it gets soft.
- Add the oregano and stir-fry the vegetables until heated through.
- Carefully add the meat and stir until browned.
- Once cooked, add the puree, basil, chili pepper and red wine.
- Once it boils, reduce the heat and simmer until the sauce thickens.
- Add spaghetti and cheese and stir over high heat until completely coated.
- Season as desired and add more chili pepper.
- Remove from heat and enjoy.
